Collection of Scientific Papers "Scientific Bulletin of Public and Private Law" was founded in 2015 by the Public Law Research Institute to publish creative achievements of scientists in order to generalize and disseminate the experience of the scientific units of the institute and other scientific institutions and higher educational institutions of legal development in the field of legal development.

Collection of scientific works "Scientific Bulletin of Public and Private Law" is included in the list of scientific professional editions in which the results of the dissertation works for obtaining the scientific degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences in Law may be published on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of July 11, 2016 No. 820 (Annex 12).

The aim of the journal is to address current issues in legal science, disseminate research findings, and contribute to the development of academic discourse in the field of public and private law.
Aims of the journal:
- publication of scientific articles on current legal issues;
- development of legal theory and practice;
- facilitation of scholarly communication between researchers and practitioners;
- integration of Ukrainian legal scholarship into the international academic space.
Open Access Policy
The journal adheres to an Open Access policy. All articles are made freely and permanently available immediately upon publication of an issue. Full-text access to the journal’s scholarly articles in real time is provided on the official website in the Archives section.
This policy complies with the definition of Open Access established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative. The journal’s licensing policy is compatible with the majority of open access and content archiving policies.
Licensing
All materials published in the journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution International (CC BY 4.0) license Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
This license allows users to:
- freely read, download, copy, and distribute the materials;
- use, adapt, and create derivative works, including for commercial purposes,
provided that appropriate attribution is given to the authors, a reference to the original publication is included, and any changes made are clearly indicated (if applicable).

Open Data Policy
The journal supports the principles of Open Science and encourages authors to ensure open access to research data underlying published results.
Authors are recommended to deposit datasets supporting their research findings (including raw data, tables, code, methodological materials, research instruments, etc.) in open institutional, national, or international repositories that comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable — ensuring data findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability).
Archiving Policy
The journal ensures reliable long-term preservation of all published materials in accordance with international standards for digital archiving.
To safeguard scholarly content:
- all journal issues are archived in the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine;
- articles are deposited in institutional repositories of universities with which authors are affiliated;
- the journal uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports open access and meets modern digital archiving requirements.
Each published article:
- remains permanently accessible on the journal’s website without time restrictions;
- is assigned a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring a stable and persistent link.
